Restaurants

This restaurant is located in the glorious village of Peratallada (Forallac) and is run by Aurea and Said. They were there earlier and it was called La Persa, but now is called Pistachio - the name is reflected in one of the main colours with which they have redecorated. Added to the rest of the decor, it has produced a dining room of great comfort and restfulness.

We were invited to lunch at the recent inauguration of the restaurant. Click on the first picture below and you will see where the difference lies.
We were indulged with a welcoming drink(s!) and this was followed by a stream of delicious salads accompanied by cheese tarts and focaccia. Aurea said to us "don't fill up on the focaccia. There are pizzas to come." And they did too! Such varieties and wonderful flavours - it was difficult to restrain oneself. And there were desserts to follow. Unfortunately, I had left no space to enjoy them.

All in all, a really enjoyable afternoon with lots of old and new friends and stories to be told and retold.
Our waistlines will suffer.

If you want to discover the talents of the pizza chef who operates the ovens, you will need to know where the restaurant is and how to contact them: phone 620 050 067 and the address is c/ Riera 4, 17113 Peratallada, GI.
